It's official: I now look to the right every time I cross a street.
And the ways England has affected the way I talk: yeh instead of yeah, hiya, oiiiii, massive, brilliant, chips (fries), crisps (chips), pants (underwear), trousers (pants), could do, should've done, banter, mad, nutters, faffing, schweffing, out on the lash...
Halfway Hall was last night. The second years had a special dinner celebrating the fact that they are halfway through their degrees. It also means I am halfway through my time here and I am more than aware of the fact that the rest is going to fly by. I want to dig my heels in and make the time slow down, but alas, I am ready for spring and no coat or tights and punting and fresh fruit and regattas and reading outside. I am already so sad to be leaving but also so excited to throw myself a massive going-away party. It's bittersweet to say the least.
