In which I am kind of all over the place

My computer charger died last week in a bizarre way - if I kept my computer plugged in, it didn't gain power but it didn't lose any either. Thus, I was fine on 33% battery power until my new charger arrived. And my new charger has a UK plug (which I can switch out with my American plug when I get back)! This is great news. One of my two outlets is behind my mattress and to use my computer and sit in bed meant shoving my mattress forward so the plug had enough space. Now, it's flat and doesn't have an adapter connected! And I can sit up against the wall without a gap between the mattress and the wall!

It's the small things, people.

Second benefit: when I use my computer at the Bod, people won't automatically know I'm American. I love peeking around and seeing who has adapters connected to their cords. Immediate giveaway.

Also, wow, according to my blog I do nothing in the library but spy on people. Too bad it's true.

As Keble College is a festering petri dish of germs, I have caught the cold which was going around (lack of sleep thanks to my essay-writing did not help). I seem to be fine with sore throat spray and ibuprofen to ward off sinus headache/swollen tonsils. And as I told Mama, at least I have been 10,000 times healthier this term than last, what with the Bronchitis and the Viral Tonsilitis. Nevertheless, I did spend today hanging out in my room. I watched "Muriel's Wedding" for the first time (LOVE Toni Collette) and drawing with my Pentels. Twas nice.

Oh! My trip to London! It was so so so so great to see Grace and Liz for the first time in nine months. We got all caught up though I felt terrible for my lack of keeping in touch last summer/fall. I then met up with Zoe when she was done with class and had a lovely dinner and evening with her friends from her program. The best part of the whole trip was probably getting to sleep in and then eat homemade chocolate blueberry pancakes. And then I just hopped on the train and came home.

Can someone please explain to me how term ends in two weeks? Would really appreciate it kthanxbye.
